I don't really eat "snack food".

I'll make a sandwich if I'm hungry, or just make sure I eat plenty at meals.

When my body says "feed me" I just say not now, wait you silly thing :P

Back in my prime college days, the other dorm guys and I would always load up on Tuesday and head to Buffalo Wilds Wings for the special and then come back and play poker. Back in my prime, I could devour the Hot/Wild sauces without batting and eye; sometimes even getting brave with the Blazing.

Last night I only had a few Medium/Hot boneless wings and this morning... no bueno...

Sad thing is, my "prime" was only 2 years ago. I can't imagine what delicacies I'll be forced to give up by the time I'm my Fathers age.

Spoiler

I was still scowling because they were not Gardetto's. I had a serious crunch addiction to those in a previous job.

I've just had dinner, but this thread is making me hungry. :(/>/>

My favorite is probably crisps, so long as they're not salt and vinegar flavor.

Speaking of chips, I ran into a Sea Salt and Pepper chip made by Lays that was really addicting.ooh, Date Night tonight and after pay day, dinner should be sushi.

I used to enjoy those, but it seems like my local joint started making them with an extreme overdose of Garlic. If I can still taste Garlic while eating my 5th WILD, too much Garlic...

Salt and vinegar is the only flavor where I prefer regular Lays to kettle chips. I got addicted to some really flavorful ones living in Brockton as a kid, and the kettle chips don't have enough flavor to satisfy my craving.

EDIT:

Just to clarify,

There's a lot of science that goes into making all of that flavor. There was pretty good article in the Times food section a few weeks back that detailed the design decisions that go into the Dorito - there's nothing accidental about any of it, it turns out. Interesting stuff, really.

But yeah, if you want that acidic bite, you're not getting it from all-natural. And sometimes you want that.

Thanks for clearing that up.
