how to specify font-size in different media types

Posted 24 November 2013 - 07:01 AM

If in css put two media, for maxwidth 800 and for example maxwidth 640px and in 800 put
h1{
font-size:30px;
}

And if in 640px put
h1{
font-size:10px;
}

In case where my resolution is for example 720(he should font size of h1 to be 30px) it is 10px. How to specify for same selector different font-size or different type of declaration? I now it going cascade, that is the problem..
