Greetings from a struggling student

With a haiku...

I suck at coding.
Check the last method I wrote.
What the f**k is this?

In all seriousness, hello everyone! It's nice to finally make your acquaintance, for I've lurked in the shadows of the tutorial section for quite some time. I'm TallonRain, a 21 year old computer science student in Texas with a lifelong ambition of building a career in the video game industry. Despite a few years of solitary effort into a handful of languages, I'm still very much a novice when it comes to coding. The languages that I understand the best however are C#, C, and Python. I've dabbled in others such as Objective-C, Java, and C++ but I've kept my focus primarily on C#. It's fair to say that I have no idea what I'm doing 90% of the time (Self-teaching can only get you so far) and I'm hoping to have the opportunity to learn from very patient and friendly faces around here. =)

Aside from coding and computers in general, I'm extremely passionate about video games, the sciences, and I do a little writing and music composition on the side when I have time and inspiration. That's pretty much it.

Greets,
TallonRain

Yeah, I've been working on a few personal projects with XNA for a couple years now and I enjoy using it. I've gotten more done with C#/XNA than anything else thus far, but I've unfortunately never finished any projects yet.
