Exciting Changes- Forum Restructuring

POPULAR
After much discussion amongst the Team and Forum Leaders, we have implemented a Forum Restructuring so that topics and questions will have increased visibility. In light of Silverlight being a long-dead technology, we have merged the Silverlight forum back in with the general .NET Framework forum. The same thing was done with the Mono forum.
The Windows Phone forum was merged with the general Mobile Development forum.
The WPF forum was archived. We hope the threads there will serve as invaluable resources to help others. However, most WPF issues are language specific; and so, we encourage members with WPF issues to post in the VB.NET and C# forums, as appropriate.
In the Java forum, the GridWorld subforum was merged back in with Java. The reason for this being that the GridWorld API is on its deathbed. This is the last year it is scripted to be a part of the AP Computer Science curriculum.
Finally, our Computer Science section has grown significantly. We also have a significant number of Computer Science related tutorials. It is high time that we have a Computer Science tutorials section! The CS tutorials section is a place where members can submit tutorials on advanced, non-language specific topics related to CS. Some of these topics include Theoretical Computer Science, Discrete Mathematics, Computer Organization, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and advanced topics in Human-Computer Interaction. We hope our CS Help Forum and CS Tutorials section will serve as invaluable resources to students, hobbyists, and professionals looking to expand their CS foundations.

You can always trade in Dream Kudos and rep points for a fun-size Snickers bar. If you play ski-ball, I hear you can rack up the kudos.

We can still exchange cat pics.
I plan on making some computer organization tutorials at some point. Maybe spring break or something?

I haven't used Tapatalk in forever, so I don't know. I generally browse on Safari on my iPhone, when I'm not on my computer.

Last time I used tapatalk it wouldn't render the code tags correctly which made reading large code topics near impossible. Although similar to Mac, I haven't used it in a long while.

Hey macosxnerd101, I really like the changes, but a suggestion since there has been a lot of forum merging going on, why not merge XNA and back into Game Development, as that would also give the Game Development forum some more active threads?

I've mentioned something to the webmaster. I don't have any control over that. It seems there is an ongoing issue with this.
I find my mobile browser to work well for browsing DIC on my phone though.
Sorry, Aaron, but we're not going to make that move. Both sections see sufficient activity for us to keep them separate.

An old news thread probably isn't the best place to post for support. We do have a Site Questions and Support forum.
I'm pretty sure the Tapatalk plugin was turned off when we had some attacks a few months back.
