Using vista theme in xp without using third party appilication?

My os is win xp. Im bored with my xp theme and i want to try vista theme.

how can i change my theme into vista without using third party program?

help pls..

Unless there some 3rd party skin out there you cant. The Vista theme cannot just be loaded onto XP.

there is a vista skin out there,
its not great,
and of course doesn't include aero or the real vista experience.

like not being able to use your favorite programs, having your OS eat up more than half of your RAM, sketchy drivers, etc...

i should probably clarify, since i love microsoft as much as the next guy :rolleyes: . in fairness, most of my problems have stemmed from the 64-bit version - problems with driver support, mainly. the interface is nice and pretty, and everything is easy to access. and i really haven't spent enough time using it to be able to get the performance to a level i'm comfortable with, so i've just stayed away for the most part.
