Searching SQL Database from VB.net from.

Posted 24 March 2014 - 03:03 PM

Hi

I have good concepts of VB.net but I'm new to all the concepts of Database. So i have this school project where i have to integrate my SQL database with a windows application. I have a table employee_info. The key field is employee id. I have another table employee_contact. I want to enter the employee id in a texy box in vb form, press button and make the program search for all the contact information associated with that employee id.

There is no code because i havent tried anything yet as i'm new to database.

Thank You.

Have you checked the tutorial section? There are three or four great examples of how to make data flow between a form and a database.. as well as the snippet section.
