Developing a .NET obfuscator. Need feedback.

Posted 24 April 2014 - 09:22 AM

I'm developing a free .NET obfuscator. It doesn't support very much functionality at the moment, though.

It can: rename types and remove namespaces, rename methods and fields, remove properties and events declarations, rename (private) assembly files. Basically, my primary goal was to make it remove all meaningful information that can help hackers to analyze the program.

It provides 2 non-standard features, that I couldn't find in existing products:
1. Fine grained control over obfuscation parameters of assemblies and their sub-items
2. It can obfuscate public types and members (useful for assemblies that are not exposed outside of your program)

Feedback is welcome.
