I an error ActiveRecord::ConnectionNotEstablished in Rails.

Posted 22 August 2014 - 01:16 AM

I am working on a web app using rails following Ruby on Rails Tutorial second edition. I am using sqite3 database. I created a controller with some views but when i run rails server and try browsing to one of the views i get an error "ActiveRecord::ConnectionNotEstablished" in the browser.

This is how my config/database,yaml looks like:
# SQLite version 3.x
# gem install sqlite3
#
# Ensure the SQLite 3 gem is defined in your Gemfile
# gem 'sqlite3'

development:
  adapter: sqlite3
  database: db/development.sqlite3
  pool: 5
  timeout: 5000
test:
  adapter: sqlite3
  database: db/test.sqlite3
  pool: 5
  timeout: 5000

I am not using Ruby or Rails myself but there might be some useful information in this SO topic about the same error.

Thanks I finally sorted it. I think I had done everything fine because I just created a new project did the same thing and it worked .
