Yes, the Expression bug is well known. It's something to do with the security features. Exactly what, I don't know. skyhawk133 tried looking into it a couple years back and didn't get anywhere.

Aaah looks like a hack I used to use to post BB tags to a forum while also formatting them with BB tags. It doesn't appear to work on this forum, at least not in post preview.
