A demonstration of 3 laptop based multi-hop wireless network. If laptop 2 is turned off, the source will NOT be able to communicate with laptop 3. As soon as laptop 2 is turned on again, laptop 1 will be able communicate with laptop 3 again.

That is my . how can we connect three laptops initially without internet connection. It became life and death query in university. if any help very helpful please. i'm new to networking

You should start looking at "wireless adhoc network".

Ah yes.. basic computer networking was firmly in root before requiring the internet.

Example - LAN parties.

sorry to ask again, cant we connect without Lan cables. My professor said to connect using simulator or ping software..

*sigh* Typically routers do well to router traffic across their connections... now if there was as special one that was wireless too.. man.. that would be swell.

I am not sure if that is a question or a statement. Try putting forth a scooch bit more effort there, guy.

Look - you need to have a way to route data around... wirelessly. Outside of making one of the machines a router/hub/switch, or setting up a bunch of VMs with a virtual router, you are limited in options.
