Change Password of Any User IN ORACLE

Posted 15 December 2005 - 09:52 AM

Description: Login from any username..Say scott with password as tiger. Then type the following statements.THIS IS A ORACLE STATEMENT AND NOT MYSQL.
ALTER USER <username> IDENTIFIED BY <new_password>;

So...

ALTER USER scott IDENTIFIED BY snake;

will change scott users password to snake.

Neat Ain't it?
