Find & Replace Data in mySQL

Posted 25 January 2008 - 10:19 AM

Description: Say you want to replace some outdated links or data in your tables, this handy little script will help with that. *** Always make a backup before doing stuff like this.To find a string in a certain field and replace it with another string:
update [table_name] set [field_name] = replace([field_name],'[string_to_find]','[string_to_replace]');

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0
