AI and GAMEPLAY PROGRAMMER
Currently, we have great opportunities for AI and Gameplay Programmers in our Los Angeles, CA office. The ideal candidate will need to be able to manage their time wisely as they solve programming challenges with smart and efficient solutions. Applicants must be able to work effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines in a self-directed manner.
JOB DESCRIPTION (to include but not limited to)
Write, test and debug gameplay code for our products (both PC and next generation consoles).
Assist with programming tasks in a variety of the following areas: Scripting, AI, GUI, Visual Effects scripting/programming, Game System Architecture.
Programming tools and utilities to optimize gameplay creation pipeline.
Work with designers, producers and artists on implementation of new gameplay features.
Ability to write clear, clean, readable, portable, reliable, and manageable code.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree of equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, physics, mathematics or similar.
At least 2 years programming experience in C++ is MANDATORY, preferably with exposure to games technologies.
Strong background in 3D linear algebra.
Has a strong interest in, and knowledge of the game industry.
Able to focus and work without micro-management.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Positive, team-oriented attitude.
Must be legally authorized or able to obtain legal authorization to work in the US.
DESIRED
Experience in an Agile development team.
Experience with Lua.
