i want to kno how do i get good sound and graphics with a pci motherboad that has all that built in. Up comming computer techian still in training trying to learn.

You're probably not gonna get great graphics from a PCI card. If you want to get good graphics I would suggest building a computer from scratch with new parts, in which one of those things is a motherboard with a PCIe slot since that is the best port for the newest graphics cards.

If you don't have the documentation that came with your computer/motherboard, you'll need to find it online. Chances are, it can be found on the manufacturers web site. There you will find the instructions to disable the on-board video device.
Chances are it's a simple jumper, once enabled the device will not be used by the machine, & will then use a 2ndary video device.
