Android Studio cant find running device

Posted 28 February 2015 - 01:25 PM

For some reason AS cant find my phone, even though I have used it in the past to test my code. I have enabled USB Debuggin on my phone and even restarted my phone, but still no luck. How can I fix this?

Have you installed the correct driver for your phone?

Does your device not show up in the list or Android Studio automatically runs the app on the emulator? If so you can change it from the Run -> Edit Configuration.

The device does not show up in the list for "Choose a running device"
It has shown up in the past, but I dont know why its not showing up now. I have restarted AS and I still get the same problem.
Also, when I set the config to start up with my device I get this:
Waiting for device.
USB device not found

If you go to your device Manager on your computer, can you see it? Or do you see a missing driver?
