Operation Firefox

Posted 12 November 2007 - 04:35 PM

Operationfirefox.com
Firefox wants to raise its awareness to computer users by having 50 people go out into the world and put 3.5' stickers in a location where many people will see them. They are giving out a macbook to the person with the most original idea and best location. Other then that, they are giving out Wii's as a consolation prize for the top 3 or 4 runners up(i cant remember if its 3 or 4).

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

I saw that the other day, but I don't have anywhere that I could put them around here. I like the picture on the second page where its at the top of a skyscraper.

Also, they made sure to cover themselves. If you read the fine print it says "We're not responsible for anything illegal that happens." (Not worded like that of course, but its in there)

This is the only one I've seen so far. But then again I don't really pay attention to the stuff below the FireFox start page and I'm too lazy to remember to set the startup page to something else.

I'd do this for IE. Fortunately, M$ has already done the dirty work for me.
