that's right, 'bout time finally BeOS gets some recognition....
one day, the world will turn & see the error it has made! (Maybe Palm will still sell it to someone interested in actually getting it out there....)

at that point, i was happy that *anything* was happening w/Be. now, i wish they'd either open-source it (the OS) or sell it to Red Hat, Sun or someone. It really is a good OS, the apps are there (for the most part). Soon as I can get some cable or DSL I'm gonna host 404Media from home (using BeOS, Apache & MySQL, of course
if nothing happens, then centurys from now, my shrivled corpse will be found hudling w/my BeBox & a fusion generator....

d00d, if red hat bought Be....
the world would be a better place. i think that would be the best thing for both parties + the hardcore linux lovers & the hardcore Be people would come together in a joyous song and dance number.

well, if skyhawk would ever send my a copy of the redhat discs, then i'd give a run down of linux vs. Be (w/o bias, hopefully).
all I can say so far, is that Be was built around a window'd system unlike Linux. everything else i've seen seems to be pretty much the same (except WiNE isn't available for Be yet...)
EDIT: PS: who else voted Be? just curious.....
