Debian Installation - Can't move or click anything

Posted 09 June 2015 - 06:04 PM

Hey guys :D
I want to install debian because I never really worked on Linux and I want now but I have a little problem .
In the installation I can't move my mouse or click anything from the keyboard so how am I gonna install debian ?
It's gonna be parallel with my Windows 8.1, I mean I'm gonna have two operating systems at once .

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

It's been years since I installed debian, but you should be able to use the ncurses menus instead of a graphical menu.

They would look something like this :

If you are unable to use the keyboard, can you click on the caps lock & get the caps lock light? Does the keyboard work in BIOS? You can also try adding a USB keyboard just for the installation.

I'll tell you soon if I get caps locks light in the installation ... and yes it works on BIOS ... it doesn't work on the graphical menu only of Debian Installation . But how do I get to the ncurses menu ?
By graphical menu I mean this one :

Okay it works now ... I don't know why but when I used the USB 3.0 instead of 2.0 it worked for some strange reason . Why ?

It boots with a bare set of available drivers. I'm not sure how you force a non-graphical installation, as I said it has been years since I've done a Debian installation.
