Wait, your code doesn't just sing its purpose out loud when you look at it? Huh, I thought that was how everyone did their documentation...

Hmm.. You could have fooled me.
Here I thought documentation of processes, procedures, code, updates, directional choices etc were nice things to have as, at bare minimum, orientation for someone who isn't you and at best provides a coherent narrative to build on going forward.

You could always tell them to shove it B9 and that they lost their weeks privileges to ask you questions, then sit their and drink a margarita with a large printout on your door giving everyone the finger as they walk by.

Finally got around to blowing some of my surprise bonus from June. Stopped in at the guitar shop, looking for a nice resonator guitar, because I love flatpicking on a resonator guitar. And they had a new one from Gretsch, and I liked it - and then I saw this little mahogany Guild triple-ought. And I played a bit on that and I thought, man, I'm stuck. So I picked some tunes on the Gretsch, and I played some tunes on the Guild, and I heard my friend Myrlin's voice in my head saying "Can't decide? Get both!".
So I did. Now I have a guitar for the office and one for home and one to take to sessions that people can hear. Harumble!

Putting out fires at work today. My meeting for ASI integration went well yesterday, I got some praise because the integration saves 6 CSRs 1-2 hours per day of entering orders manually. My parents sold their house yesterday and are moving this Saturday, the guy who owned the house they bought is a network security guy who actually has the same job as a family friend. Well he asked if I do any contract work and my dad gave him my number and name so maybe I'll be able to get some side money here soon, that would be good.
