Anyone playing Borderlands 3? Picked up last week.

Jamming on South Park's Fractured, but Whole game all weekend. Pretty solid if you enjoyed the first one... though I wouldn't recommend playing them back to back. Instead of lord of the rings it's all about superheros.

The layering of puzzles and leveling of abilities lend well with not being too bored retreading the town over and over again.

So far only two major boss fights really are giving me problems. Tip of the hat to you Spontaneous Boot'ay. Well three if you count Morgan (Fucking) Freeman.

Finally beat the Dancer of the Boreal Valley. Also killed Hodrick with Sirris. Got to the Dragon Barracks in Lothric castle and noped tf outta there. Played OW. My new main (HealBot76) is hardstuck 2505. Whew lad.

Gave the new Modern warfare beta a chance, it's not that bad I guess. But what I'm really excited for it death stranding. That one should be good. But in all honesty, I'm still trying to finish GOW xD

Finally getting back into Destiny 2. It's telling that you've been gone for a while when all of year gear has been leveled up to what the max was when you left...

.. but no.. seems it won't be until Oct 25, 2020 for Steam and Oct 25, 2019 for epic games. Fudge that.. 2020 here I come.

Yeah, hopefully if enough developers see a spike in sales once their exclusive with Epic expires they'll figure out it's not such a great deal. I guess it depends on how much cash Epic is shoveling at them though.

@modi123_1 - I bowed out in mid-to-late March I think. I unlocked all the forges, hit 750 with my primary gear set and my Gambit Prime sets. But then Division 2 dropped, and in Destiny I was being forced to pick between Drifter and the Vanguard, and I just wasn't ready for that kind of commitment. A few weeks ago, I saw the trailer for the latest expansion and realized it was time to come back.

I think I kind of did the same thing with D1, too.

With that 40%+ investment from chinese owned Tencent, I would imagine they have boatloads on top of what ever Fartnight is doing.

@modi - what's pushing you away from the game?

Destiny 2? In about a year of gaming it I've more or less accomplished what I wanted, collected what I wanted, got my two silly medallion pin things from Bungie for triumphs, and the like.

Not a large fan of the extra complexity with the armor 2.0, and outside of getting super grindy with the big raids I had my fill and was satisfied with the progress. A hell of a game, but I reached my end of that journey.

Yeah, I'm torn on the armor, but I haven't really dug in enough to have a firm opinion. At first glance, it seems like a potentially interesting way to not have to grind for drops of the same armor until you get the roll you want, but on the other hand I've already done that with the armor I use, and it looks like it's just going to get more expensive (in terms of enhancement shards, etc.) to get "finished" pieces, which means I'll just have to grind for those instead. So we'll see.
