Final Year Project

Posted 02 October 2015 - 12:45 PM

Hi I am a student from UK in Bradford University. I have been assigned a task to create a basic (but us programmers aren't satisfied with basic) Public Transport route and payment system. The outline deliverables are as follows:

  • Different Levels of Ahtorisation and Authentication
  • query and routing in a map for cities

For now I only have this set of tasks. And I know that PHP can do login system and search/query.
But can it interact with an api such as google api to make a route appear.? I idealy want to use PHP.
Is this a doable thing? If someone could help by pointing towards a starting point for this would be great. Thanks

A starting point:

The Google Maps Directions API

(Did you not find this when searching?)

Sounds doable.

Thank you Andrew. I kind of did but now I know to do proper research before I actually reply on forums haha. But I think it still it always gives extra motivation when other intelligent web developers can share their thoughts. Thanks anyhow
