This more or less qualifies as a movie, and if you think of it that way, it's better than most anything they'll make this year or next.

Right on!
As horror goes, I prefer realistic to not. Stuff where you think, there actually ARE people like this. Monster movies like Nightmare on Elm Street, Ghost Ship, and Leprechaun don't really do much for me (that said I love Kaiju like Godzilla and Pacific Rim, but those aren't really Horror).
I hope you enjoy it, gotta let me know once you get around to it.
I'll check out Triangle - I looked it up and that sounds interesting. Psychological ones are in the wheelhouse of what I like - Identity was really cool, imo.

I watched a slew of movies recently on TV on one of my short vacations, but movies in theater I recently watched Independence Day Resurgence and X-men Apocalypse. Probably next movie I am going to watch is Ghostbusters, Star Trek Beyond followed by Suicide Squad.
P.S. Oh and maybe Jason Bourne, but I am not sure yet.

The new Independence Day just didn't do it for me. I mean yeah, big-budget action flicks are supposed to have some cheese, and I can appreciate and enjoy that, but that one was like nachos without the chips.

The new Ghostbusters was better than the original.

Futureworld and somehow woke up dozing off to Pitch Perfect's near ending.. so I guess that counts.

Road tripped to DC to see Absolutely Fabulous - and it was. If you are a fan of the show, you will love the movie.
Mancat and I went to see Star Trek: Beyond on Sunday night. It was alright...not as good as the previous JJ Abrams Star Treks, but alright.
And last night, he finally talked me into watching Ted. It was better than I anticipated.

I just watched three movies in three days. I need a little break from the noise box for a day or two.

ya I had considered watching Star Trek Beyond but Ghostbusters was so good I didn't want to push my luck, or have Star Trek be good but still suck by comparison.
