Restaurant Website

Posted 29 April 2016 - 10:49 AM

My godfather just opened up a plate lunch and catering business, so naturally I offered to write him a website pro-bono. I found out recently that plate lunches don't really exist outside of Louisiana so basically every day of the week there are a few "plates" that get served, so the menu is static, kind of like a blue plate special at a diner for all you old farts ;)

I wrote the website with the HTML5 doctype but I did not use any HTML5 or CSS3 for those using older web browsers(or not so old IE). However, I feel as though the website is too plain. I want y'all to review it and tell me what I could do to spice up the page.

Here is the fiddle as it is not live(yet): http://codepen.io/anon/pen/ZWqwrM
