We just had a crash course on schema form. It looks handy, so I thought I might use if for my personal site. However, some of my dev homies said it's garbage and they hate it. wat do?

Like XML Schema? Shit's great, yo. I can create valid XML objects to pass around without having to know what they're supposed to look like. I don't have to manually add nodes and children and all that crap, I can just serialize an object to XML through its schema.

If you're talking about XML Schemas then they are lying to you. Those little beauties are super handy and beyond powerful. More so when handling external data, much faster for validating. used them heavily on the tax system I worked on a few years back.
