She loved the dinner I made her. She would have loved the steak over a charcoal grill so much more though. We're prevented from cooking anything outdoors, even electric grills. I would have taken her to on of the parks round here with grills but her health wouldn't allow for that.

Today was a good lazy day to brush up on coding. I even helped someone with their Java code and felt extremely proud, but sadly the site I was on had flagged that person's question. Still proud of my small achievement though.

Just wasted 9 hours dicking around in MATLAB. Now with my professors email verifying that I was waaaaayyyyyyyy overthinking it, I'm kinda deflated that I wasted so much time. I wanted to sew this weekend. :( Time to redo my whole project.

I hadn't sewed in so long. I'd really like to get back into it. What do you mainly sew as far as like shirts, clothes, quilts, etc.

Weekend was too short.

Trying to make tkinter play nice with itself. This may require a code change more drastic than I was originally expecting.

Xamarin is all setup on my workstation. Made the plan to focus on the Android side first, then venture over to the iOS side when I have a firmer handle on the moving pieces, it will spare some cost implications until I am actually ready to give Apple money :P

Wrote a PHP script for an ETL process for someone that is continuing to give error codes, not completely sure why it is failing, and contemplating redoing it in another language. I think it might* be that the server has spaces in the directory names. That is a bad habit that Windows started!

I'm ready to go home now!!!

A guy said today, "Of course, you'll be able to chop an image in PhotoShop?". I said, "Of course!".

Looks like I'll be downloading a trial version and trying to learn it v. quickly. Maybe this will help:

Learn the Basics of Photoshop in Under 25 Minutes

We need some of these tools in our coding environment: Magic Wand, History Brush, Healing Brush

After all, we are artists :) (Or artisans?)

After a week and a few days out of the office I am slowly picking up the trail of tears and broken dreams left in my absence. Out of forty-plus "to do" emails I am up to six that indicated "this is the highest priority when you come back". Not bad.

So we went up north this weekend and I thought I left my phone at home, but I have now been looking for 2 hours and can't find it. Will have to search my car when the lady comes back from work (she is driving my car until we get a plate on the one she just bought). Hopefully it is there, because if it isn't I be in trouble. I think I will do a bunch of Java homework and PHP homework to try and get way ahead of schedule before I start work on Friday.

Look out PHP and Java forums here I come lol
