Catastrophic power failure at work... got sent home with the promise of a lazy day playing videogames and taking naps. Those plans ruined by the power issue being fixed. I guuuuuuuuuuuessssssssss the company can make money and I can miss my nap.

They will make money even if they cry about losing money.

Is it possible to reverse a lexicographic minimal string back to the original 2 strings?
For instance lets take the words "BRAD" and "PITT". The lexicographic minimal string is BPIRADTT. Now can we take that string and basically revert it back to the original comparison strings?

While I have no idea how you got that answer from the input, if there are any 2 inputs that will result in the same output then you can't reverse the algorithm.

I think it's about high time I get my system upgraded to windows 10. Planning on backing up and see what this 'in place' upgrade is all about.. or buying a SSD and an install disc and go that route. Decisions, decisions..

I got a C on my final and a C- in the class. I'm so excited. I was soooo close to dropping too. I'm glad I didn't.

I got the idea from a Hacker Rank challenge which was easy enough to complete, but got me thinking about the question I posed here.

Too late for that lol.
More highschool drama at work. My cbus bff/the girl who sits next to me is furious with me. She fights like cats and dogs with the test lead and I defend him because really she's making mountains out of molehills and takes everything as a slight against her. Man, being friends with her is really a rollercoaster of emotions. She goes from 0 to 100 real quick. Gotta walk on eggshells to stay friends, which is probably why she's still single.

Today has been a S**T SHOW!!!
One of the devs stomped on, ran over, torched, pissed on, and sold to a pirate his local machine. GIT CLEAN apparently killed it!!!! So, all day he has been working on trying to get it going again. BUT, I went to TRY and help. Even doing a clone of the repo doesn't work and that is how new machines are built!
The CIO has been on my but about an immediate hotfix that makes little difference in the scheme of things.
I did manage to get two tickets done, but criminy has it been a day! This will teach me to take a four day weekend!

I see, the examples I found were using different versions.
Since collisions are possible, you can't reverse it. You don't know if BPIRADTT corresponds to BRAD PITT or BPIT RADT.

right, but if you knew the shortest word out of the 2 words, would it then be possible? sorry I forgot that tidbit of information.
nevermind that doesn't work when both are the same length

Trying to relax while relatives are out. So far, we have lost a candle cover, nearly lost the sub-woofer, and had to take one of our dogs to the emergency room. And the relatives have only been here for 3 days now. Another 4 to go... I am ready for this "vacation" to be over.
