Where are WinMM.Lib , kernel32.lib , user32.lib , Comdlg32.lib

Good afernoon,

I tried to compile a very interesting C code "sound recorder using the low level api in C", published on your site. (topic 208153). I have read C. Petzold book, so the use of VisualStudio 2010 to compile it is also interesting for me.

The compilation failed because of afxres.h (which has to be change with "windows.h" if I have understand) and because of the libraries not associated by the link procedure. So I would be very happy if someone could explain to me where I could find these libraries. The tutorial is very well writen ( Project -> properties Linker -> Input -> additional dependencies ) but the french version of visualStudio doen't show these libraries .

Thank you very much if you can help me !

Marc

You'll need to install the Windows SDK, or Visual Studio (which will in the process install the Windows SDK). You'll find them in the "lib" directory under the Windows SDK directory.
