Delphi TreeView

Posted 27 October 2016 - 08:30 AM

I have a old Delphi program and which I'm trying to update. It has TreeView with Columns for didn't things, my jobs is to add 2 columns so that the user of the program can type notes into these columns about what they're doing. My through were to add a textbox inside the columns. I have already add the 2 columns they wanted, but can anyone point me into the right direction on how they can add notes to these columns at run time? And if I can add a textbox inside these 2 columns point me in the right direction for that. Is their a video or a website that shows this? When I try goggling it I get info on add a node at runtime.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

The TreeView control has an OnEditing event. The event has a reference variable AllowEdit which can be set to indicate whether you want a particular node edited. The node information you want is probably AbsoluteIndex.

TreeView has a ReadOnly property, which likely needs to be false.

Thank you, I haven't had time to try anything yet, but this should be very helpful. At least now I have an idea of where to begin.
