Zune Custom display issues

Posted 24 December 2007 - 10:02 AM

I have a 30Gb, one i got from w00t!.com.
I found the IPod relatively easier to customize than the Zune, so what I am looking for are suggestions.

For example I have the GNR use your illusion 1 & 2 album uploaded to Zune. As with most of my album art I have to download it off the internet such as the wiki. Well Use Your Illusion 1 album art will not show up on my zune. Disk 2 shows up fine. Thats one minor irritant. I tried deleting and re-uploading the image and it still will not sync to Zune. Does anyone else have this issue?

Also I have a song off of another CD - titled the same as the CD name. When it syncs on Zune it wants to play track #6 instead of 1.
So I opened up the MP3 properties and renamed everything to the appropriate title. Track 1 was claiming to be track 6 in properties. and whatnot so I set it right. When I sync to Zune - I mysteriously loses track 1. This is annoying.

These are a few of the inconveinences I experienced. does anyone know of an easier way to make all my music, album art, and tracks appear appropriately?

- Just wanted to add, that I do have the current and latest firmware version as well. -

Can't say I've had any issues. I suppose what you can do is go through your library and make sure all of your music is exactly how you want it, then reupload everything to your Zune.

That is going to be the next step. It just puzzles me because I changed the file both the name, and the properties as well as on the Zune. If that doesnt work then I guess my Zune just doesnt want that music on it.

Thanks!
