I am a novice VB.NET programmer, correction, a "very" novice programmer and I've been using VS 2017 since early May. For what it's worth, I've had no problems with it what-so-ever.

Hello.

I have created Excel add-in in Visual Studio 2017 in C#. My problem is when I create an installer for it setup.msi using Visual Studio 2017 Installer extension it builds without any problems and I'm able to install on my local machine but when I start up Excel add-in is not on the list. When I'm running code to test from Visual Studio level it is all working and it adds my add-in Excel. What am I missing?

VS2019 is right around the corner.

Now if I had to say what are important features:

Click to Run
Live unit testing
Enhancements to IntelliCode where Microsoft scanned GitHub and other sites with code to see what are the most used methods and push them to the top when typing. then presenting methods.
EditorConfig settings.
Including System.ValueTuple into the Framework rather than having to install via NuGet.
Git integration
Better exception helpers
Better Xamarin tools
AI development
