How do i make an .EXE file in python?

Posted 16 February 2017 - 05:45 AM

I want to make exe files, or atlest files that I can run on other computers that doesnt have a programming language installed. I would prefer if there was a way in python, but any language works for me. I've looked at py2exe and cx_freeze, but none of these worked for me because they are outdated.

What version of Python are you using? Did you locate the latest version of those modules?

Do you need to use the latest Python version?

I use Pyinstaller; it works well with Python 3.4.
It can build a single .exe file from a Python script.
If you use other modules, like Pygame, it can build an executable file package (not a single file); this package you can eventually zip yourself.
