Hi I am trying to capture a YouTube video's network loading times and place it on a graph.
E.g. if i simulate 3G connectivity using Google Chrome and load a YouTube video, I am trying to capture when YouTube buffers the video, loads different quality of the video (DASH) etc.
Can someone help me by pointing me in the right direction?
Thanks.

What apps do you have at your disposal for traffic inspection?
Is this about the capturing of loading times or about some simulation?

Let me add some more detail, my bad.
What I am trying to do is see how different network speeds (3G, 4G, Wifi etc.) effect YouTube loading times for the same video. I am also trying to see when and where YouTube changes the quality of a video under different network speeds (e.g. if i play a video using only 3G connection, YouTube will downscale the video to 360p or 480p but when I change the connection speed to WiFi, the video will automatically change up to 720p+). So I would like to capture this information and place it on a graph.
The programs at my disposal:
WireShark 2.2.5
Google Chrome (using Developer > Network, to change network conditions)

Super.. so you have wireshark. Have you tried just capturing the data as a video streams and making visual notes of when the video changes resolution then eyeballing the packet information around those times?
