Flash based program

Posted 30 March 2017 - 04:25 PM

I have a program (flash based) loaded in Centos on my server that was by default
set to run @ PHP memory_limit: 128M. We increased this to PHP memory_limit: 256M.

I'd like to know how increasing this PHP memory_limit would affect this flash based program. What overall effect does increasing this PHP have in a flash based program.

Am looking to reduce lag when this flash based program is running.

Server Info...
Motherboard : ASUSTeK Computer INC. P8B-M Series
CPU : Intel® Xeon® CPU E3-1245 V2 @ 3.40GHz
Number : 8 Cache : 8192 KB Speed : 3392 MHz
RAM 4 x 8192 MB
Disks 2 x 2000GB SATA
Real Time Monitoring version 0.9.4-3
Kernel version CentOS release 6.6 (Final) 2.6.32-573.18.1.el6.x86_64

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Why would the PHP memory limit affect Flash at all? Is this some Flash movie that runs in the user's browser or are you running a console command or something to run Flash or Actionscript code on the server? What's the connection with PHP?

Flash is executed on the client side. The only thing the server has to do with anything is sending to the requester. You are looking down the wrong rabbit hole. Start by optimizing the flash program, if you think that is worth it, with flash support being dropped.
