Send data to Google map

Posted 07 April 2017 - 12:23 AM

Hi. I'm new in android app development, but I want to create an app for my country (a very small island). The app will be a travel guide for people who go by bus. In my country, even the large roads with heavy traffic roads do not get recognised as possible bus route in google map( but it does for car or walk routes). I want to do an app which will have the information(like location) of the bus stop and this information will be send to google map. The location of the bus stop will have to be placed on the map by myself (the bus stop also are not recognised). I dont want my app to display the map itself, I want google map to do that. Is that possible?
If yes, could you please, reply something I can google (a techincal word which solve my problem or whatever)?
Ps: English is not my native language. Sorry for any confusion.

That seems like a very straightforward thing to do. You can do it as an Android-only app if you already know Java. Or if you know C# you could do it as a Xamarin.Forms app and have it run on Android and iOS using the same code base.
