Khakis and Collard shirts are fine, I have a tattoo on my arm and no one cares. On Fridays it is jeans and t-shirt day.

but i agree with fooboo that fashion is bullshit..hehehe i would love to get a pocket watch and monocular(or whateva it is) if you really do wear that, its AWESOME!!!
i believe as long as you don't look messy at work (and you don't have to look professional for clients to impress them) then its kewl..now wear "less" wouldn't look neat, but jeans and tshirt is neat enuff...
oh and with the no facial hair thing, wot if you have long hair or actually you know how wen you trying to grow your hair and its at this stage where you can't tie it up but its long and looks a bit messy...whot does your company do then?

places with strong rules like that it all depends on your boss.
i used to always have a beard and no one had a problem with it, until the district admin came in and commented on it. i sent my two weeks notice directly to her. (i really wanted a reason to quit)

I had a woman that recently decided she was muslim and wanted to wear all the garb and reap the benefits her new religious beliefs celebrated. She wasnt necessarily denied the right to wear the garb, this was in a corporate environment where shirt and tie were required.
They cant discriminate due to religious beliefs, but they could have easily found another reason to let her go if she would have worn the Hajab? (not sure if I spelled it right, or pronounced it right)

Does excessively long nose hair count as facial hair?
I would love to work somewhere with a written dress code. Imagine the loop holes you could drive a dump truck through... Nothing looks better with a full suit than my Gene Simmons Kiss boots...
