Re: Free DIC++ Membership

Hi Chris and all admin, mods and alumni, (as well as others)
I think i'm acceptable (now).
These were the rules and i think i've followed them accordingly:
1- No Myspace / Social Networking Links: Blogspot.com
2- The Site Must Be Established: Over 3 months, over 5 posts
3- Decently Designed: I like the design.
So the link once again.

Please give me feedback if there is anything i need to improve in. Thanks guys

I just came to know that DIC++ is available for members with 500+ Kudos...
So I contaced the admin and got it....
It feels great!
I have 500+ kudos since January and I was not informed about this method..
Anyways, I love the site and don't need a reason to advertise it.
So, I still have it on my Blog.

I have placed an advertisement and link on the homepage of my graphics site: www.art-division.net.
It is in the left block of the home page.
Also, I'll be writing a review for DIC, which draws many members as well (main block on the home page is where the review will be, you can see current articles there as well, they have numerous views).
Hope it's good enough for DIC++. If you want, I'll get a bigger advertisement or change the font color to make it stand out.
Thanks,
Drew

So maybe you're not the snippet/tutorial writing type. But you still want to enjoy dream.in.code ad free. If you link to dream.in.code on your blog or web site, I'll give you a year of free DIC++.
Post here so I can see the link and I'll upgrade your account.
Link Rules :
1- No Myspace / Social Networking Links : We love our social networks also, but a link on one of these is not especially helpful for anyone. Build a site and get back to us.
2- The Site Must Be Established : What we mean is that if you have a blog, it needs to have more than 2 or 3 posts, over a period of time, that show you have an interest in the topic. It doesn't have to be anything amazingly special, we aren't going to set a specific number, but setting up a free blogger account and posting twice won't cut it.
3- Decently Designed : I said decent. Not excellent, not good. You are most likely here to continue learning so we completely understand if your site is a work in progress... however, we have a certain low low level of standards.
Most Importantly :
Please do not be offended if on your first submission you don't get the DIC++. Instead take that, go to the site check forum and figure out what you need to improve your website. Why don't we just give it away to every site? DreamInCode costs money to run. Real American cold hard cash. DIC++ is paid for by a lot of the members of this site in an effort to supplement the site. Your link replaces that monetary donation but we won't just be handing it out for everything. We love you and welcome to the site if you are new -- so stick around and you WILL one day get the DIC++.

I have a question. I work for a computer/electronics service business that is just getting started. We're thinking of hosting our own site from a home desktop. Would this promotion apply to putting a link to D.I.C. on our business site?
PS. - I'm probably going to put the link anyway, provided my boss okays it. =P

Just saw this thread.
I've been enjoying DIC for a while now, and I've linked in different ways for a about as long. It's a page that still doesn't have too many hits, but it's getting there and it's updated frequently. I put my articles about what I learn there if you wonder what it is, and I'm a student, so every once in a while(couple of times a week) it's updated.

I didn't rate you 10/10 to lick @ss but because I'm actually so very greatfull this community exists.
Does this count?
