Original parallax scrolling page

Posted 12 September 2017 - 06:07 PM

I made a parallax scrolling page on my website.
I made it a bit original by using inconvenient self-made
background-images which sometimes gives a cool visual effect.

I think it looks good, but I'd like to have some more opinions.
Does it look good or totally ugly?

Interesting site. The parallax effect is a little visually weird. I can't say whether or not it is too distracting or not but at least it is different than other sites. The whole site seems pretty low key and unexciting. When you play with just a gray scale it tends to be something people look at and bounce off of. But your experimentation is certainly eye catching at first.

Don't be afraid of some cleverly placed color graphics and liven it up a little. I can only guess from this you are showing off your work and with what you have here it makes you look a little one dimensional. It is your time to shine!

One last thing, it appears that your parallax just doesn't translate to smaller resolutions. It shows just big gaps between headings and doesn't look very good. Might want to take a look at that going forward. :)
