Dealing with morning commute..
Back in the office..
.. all for the first time in about five days. . Ugh.. why am I here again?
The scary thing is how little emails I have in my inbox. Though, to be fair, the bulk of the company was off too.

Though I had 200+ emails when I came in today...
And as for why you are there, the answer is money. I am pretty sure you would stop showing up if they stopped paying you.

After talking to my manager, he gave his blessing on applying for the promotion. He said "if nothing else it's just like flinging shit at the wall to see if it sticks" XD. I felt bad about applying, but then got interrogated by test and analyst leads about my work in such a way that made it seem like they thought I was basically just fucking around all day. Then I didn't feel so bad.
