Hello, I'm new here

Posted 29 November 2017 - 10:21 PM

I just wanted to introduce myself since I just joined. Um, what to say... I'm studying Xlib and GTK+ 3 because I want to get into GNU/Linux desktop environment development. I've learned a lot since I started studying it about a month ago. I gradually keep finding out new things, like I didn't know about XEmbed until almost a week ago. So I've learned a lot about DE stuff, but it's still a little confusing. Usually, I just keep messing with stuff until I get a feel for them, but sometimes it helps if you can find a good tutorial or two, which is hard to find for global menu bar design. Anyway, that's pretty much all I've been doing lately, studying how to make a global menu bar.

I look forward to learning a lot on here. Have a good day :)/>
