Website review - physiotherapist

Posted 05 April 2018 - 04:43 PM

I've made a website for a physiotherapist.
I'm actually pretty proud of the result, but
of course there are always some points of improvements possible
I don't notice.

So I'd like some strong unfiltered feedback on it. ;)/>
URL: Click

It's in Dutch (Belgium), pages have very varying layouts.
(Not always just simple title and text).

The "Over", "Team", and "Specialisaties" pages are those where
I tried to be a bit creative. So let me know what you think of those.

The website is supposed to be responsive for mobile.

By the way maybe an interesting feature,
my client didn't want that users would be able to make/cancel appointments
using the form or mail.
So I made a small "algorithm" detecting if the user of the formwants to arrange an appointment (only supported in Dutch...) by spotting specific keywords.

e.g: copy/paste this in the form textarea

I wil mijn afspraak afzeggen

Dutch for: "I want to cancel my appointment".

What do you think of this approach?

Not bad.. watch out on the home page.. there are a few half mb to almost 1mb sized images.

That home page has an absurd amount of white space that could be better spent talking up the company, reviews, calendar, etc.

The company logo at the top looks pixelated.. worse so when I just view the image.

Not a large fan of the hamburger menu when viewing on a desktop.

The footer email could be made into the standard link tag to open an email up.

I don't get the point of the 'over' page. The silly amount of dots going to.. what? More text in circles?

The team page took an awful long time to load.. upwards of 10ish seconds.

Is there supposed to be an mp4 loading? If so that didn't.

The roving dots on that page don't make sense... the 2/3 white space to 1/3 information looks weird there too.

The pages that are solid off white seem unfinished. (praktisch, visie, fundamenten, etc).

As for making/canceling appointments - no.. skip that and just have them call.
