I think Ramsay did that with Thanksgiving turkeys on his "F-Word" show to teach his kids about where food comes from. I never saw the episode where he killed and cooked them though.

Yeah he did. This show was over 5 days with killing on all but the last. They killed suckling pigs, calves, lambs, and kid goats then did a summary on the last day.

It was unflinching. They stunned the animals, hung them up by their ankles, slit their throats, gutted them, butchered them, roasted them, and ate them...you can't get fresher meat than meat cooked in the slaughter house :P

I normally don't like bloodshed or violence, but the carnivorous animal in me likes a nice very well-done avian meat~!

Believe it or not its a great feeling. I'm not sure if that statement makes me a "sick" individual but I look forward to the feeling I get each season when I drop my buck, the rush, the adrenaline.

Plus, it helps keep the freezer full since we don't buy meat from the store (We buy straight from the beef rancher himself, then butcher, same with pork). At any given time in my freezer I have beef, pork, chicken, deer, elk, wild turkey (not the drink lol), one year I even had some Caribou from an Alaskan hunting trip.

And like aj32, I have 2 passions: Coding & Hunting lol
