Colors to make button grab attention

Posted 26 July 2018 - 04:43 PM

Hello!

So I have a page which use a few main-colors, mainly different shades of gray, black, white, and pink.
Now I have a contact-button, I want this button to grab all the attention, make users wanna click it,...

It looks the nicest when I make the button in the main-colors, but than it doesn't grab the attention (conversion > nice design).

Thus my question: What would be the best color-combination for the button, to make it nice looking but still pop-out of the rest of the design enough to grab the attention?

Thanks!

It's the - currently - red contact-button I'm talking about.

There is no 'best', but battle ship gray blows.

Go poke around palette combos here:

Certainly isn't a Fifth Element reference.

You don't need another colour. If you want to grab attention, make the button's background solid pink with white lettering.
Now, I don't know if this kind of thing should be so attention grabbing. It should be in a place where people look for it if they do need to contact.

Apart from this, we don't see the whole page obviously but I think your design is a bit poor nonetheless. It is lacking some metaphor, something that tells us what the page is about. I don't speak Dutch so I have no clue what this is all about and what I should feel about it.

Why don't you check out the following tool: https://webaim.org/r...ontrastchecker/ . With it, you can check the color contrast and choose the best colors in terms of user perspective.

I think using the pink colour with white characters would highlight the button and create attention around it. Consider also that colours as yellow and red are the first ones to be seen by human eye.

I also think that a pink button (color #f061c4) with white text is the best choice.
