RISC instructions to display binary numbers on a display device.

Posted 15 October 2018 - 08:49 AM

Hallo Coders,

I am curious about how I can make a RISC instructions that can display characters from the input of the user (here I excluded the code to read from the keyboard input and assume that that has already been done and the input of the keyboard is stored in memory location called BINARY). BINARY contains a 16-bit pattern and I want to display those bits as a string of 0's and 1's on a display device. Take a look at my code that I have written and my question to you guys is: Have I written a proper RISC instructions to do what I have mentioned above?

I have looked everything up on google and youtube and even on stack overflow but I haven't found anything about this topic and how I should write my code. So that is why I am here posting this thread.

Thanks in advance :)
