OLE DB is *NOT* Deprecated

Posted 25 October 2018 - 01:06 PM

Link: OLE DB is *NOT* Deprecated

Yes, technically, the news is a year old, but it is news to me since I've been so heads down with another project last year and I've only lately managed to come up for air now.

After all these years of telling people to switch to ODBC, I have to advise people to prefer OLEDB again. :/

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 2

Aah object linking and embedding,

You will be telling me to use ActiveX controls next...!!

You're just so 1990's.

As my Daughters keep telling me that's like a hundred years ago!!

And as I keep telling my Daughters, they can't count and exaggerate far too much!! ;)
