Regarding Bluray playback on VLC

Posted 02 November 2018 - 02:56 PM

Apologies for the vague title. I'm not sure how to phrase the question to be short enough.

I can play a bluray on VLC with no problems. However, in order to do this, I have to bypass the menu system. In most cases this is great (even desirable), as it skips straight to the main feature. However, if I want to access any of the other features on the disc, I am flying blind skipping through all the titles to find what I want. This becomes even more problematic with those Blurays that don't list all the features on the packaging.

I can play standard DVDs with no issues.

I am currently running VLC 2.2.2 on Ubuntu 16.04.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

Good advice, I also use this. Linux has a range of free and paid products, and it doesn't hurt to search up some other repos to try. You can always purge what you don't like.
