Simple version control for beginner programmers - feedback needed

Posted 07 December 2018 - 10:23 AM

I created a simple GUI for SVN version control.

The idea behind this is trying to support new programmers. It might be easier for them to get their head around GIT and SVN when they don't need to use the command line.

If you need branching, merging and rebasing this is not for you, however for a lot of non-devs with a personal project, it might be a time saver. After you start working on bigger projects, you will have a good understanding of the basics of version control.

Kinda like TortoiseSVN? Which already has a fairly strong foothold in this market... I'd love to test this out for you, but I just feel that is just too important of a thing to put faith in something untested. Sorry.

I also have some doubts after your article in Medium first got suspended, and then later deleted.
