step of Ssh-ing into the banana-pi - and to network throughout cable

Posted 19 December 2018 - 06:36 AM

helllo dear Experts here on dream-in-code

i am currently seeting up the banana-pi.

here some musings on the step of Ssh-ing into the banana-pi - and to the network throughout the ethernet cable

I have several steps to do. - here a stepwise progression of what i have been doing:

The step of Ssh-ing into the banana-pi

After ive ve inserted the freshly backed SD card into the Banana Pi i connect the ethernet cable between the BananaPi and my router.

Then i turned the Banna Pi on by connecting the micro USB cable to the electricity. i then have been waiting a few minutes, since the first boot takes longer than usual. After this step i then ve opened the routerís dashboard and look at the ethernet connected devices . i was able to see a device hostname ubuntu-minimal. Take a note of the IP of that device.

With that i now iam opening my terminal and type:

ssh [email protected]_IP_YOU_JUST_FOUND
(password ubuntu)

Well afterwards i should be in!

Well i think that now i am up and ready and i am surely connected to the banana pi via the network.

But wait: i am still in need to keep the bannan Pi connected to the network throughout the ethernet cable. That has not been done yet.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0
