A file system isn't a good benchmark for a program work flow. Given the 'hidden' path you still have a graph... hiding it to force a tree seems, silly.

My gut feel is that Leonido1 is trying to follow in the footsteps of the Booch Method where software development becomes less of an art, and more of a mechanical process. In this case, just feed the tree from his model into a code generator, and resulting output will have the code for the menu system, and boilerplate templates for each of the windows at the leaves. Needless to say, I am completely against the Booch Method.
