Make 300dpi from a 72dpi image

Posted 30 January 2019 - 10:38 AM

Hey!

I once made a logo in GIMP for a website.
Now the website owner wants to print his logo...
But the printing company needs this logo in 300dpi (in a esp file).

I don't have Adobe and have no idea on how to make this high quality logo.
Does someone know how to convert this image to 300dpi in GIMP? I already tried resizing the 'print size' but the quality stayed the same.

Could I remake the same logo but save it with higher DPI? The font is Olivers Barney.

Thanks!

The file size should increase, but yeah.. if done well, or in say vectors, there should be no visual change.
