mathematical software

Hi,

is anyone aware of the software to convert generating function to recurrence relation.Recurrence relations are easily searchable in oeis but this is not the case for generating functions.
Thanks

The point of the generating function is that the coefficients are the values the recurrence relation at each natural number n. So if you expand out the generating function (at least for a few terms), then you can plug those terms into the OEIS.

Any standard computer algebra system like Mathematica or Maple will be sufficient. Honestly, you could probably use WolframAlpha to do so.
